Inga
is one of Spice's 2006 puppies. We had four evaluations on the litter
and every one kept picking this pup.
We'll just have to wait and see. (It's lonely at the top). Inga's mom
Spice, of course, has won so much and still winning that we felt we
would breed her with another magnificent dog, Almanza Let's Party Today
We met DAR (Almanza Let's Party Today) in February 2005.
After watching him for almost eight months we approached Ron Parton and
asked if we could breed with DAR. He phoned me back and agreed because
he knew Spice's background and loved some of the dogs in her pedigree.
We bred in February 2006 and landed with ten beautiful puppies... thanks
DAR! While the puppies were being born DAR was off to Westminster.
Meanwhile DAR's Dad was preparing to go to Crufts (Almanza I Hate
Monday).
What we didn't know was that he would win Crufts for Best of Breed and
take second in the Gundog Group. Fancy Breeding with the seed of the
Number one flat coat in the world. We'll just have to wait to see how
this beauty turns out.
